MOBILE BANNER AD TAKEOVER / FEDEX
To promote FedEx’s new Mobile App, we created a novel “point-of-sale” campaign. We generated immediate awareness for the app in the space where people are most likely to take action and complete ‘impulse’ downloads. It was the first ever mobile video takeover modeled after traditional desktop “video home-page takeovers” (successful awareness drivers for years). Collaborating with their AOR BBDO, modop built a video in which a FedEx courier picks up a banner and carries it off creating an arresting image never before seen in mobile. It’s a Mobi award winner for best location based campaign with 120MM impressions over three months and 26.9MM views.
