modop Portland Makes LA Jealous with New Office

modop Portland recently relocated to a larger office in the Pearl District’s historic Honeyman Hardware building. We completely remodeled this sunny corner unit to provide a spacious, collaborative, and modern workspace while maintaining its roots as a turn of the century storefront. The rustic brick from the structure was uncovered, structural columns were highlighted, mechanical systems were kept exposed, and knotty Pine flooring discovered under the mezzanine carpeting was restored to original condition. We reused the fir removed during demo to create a conference table in a Native American inspired pattern with a clear and ebonized finish. The artwork came from Modus Operandi's own Brian Kingston.
