SUBARUDigital / Out of Home
For many years we have been a trusted tech and development resource for Subaru. We have launched everything from complex campaign experiences to large-scale and long-term core platform development on subaru.com. These launches include migration of the world’s largest flat HTML website to Adobe’s AEM platform, rapid prototyping of new designs and functionality, as well as ongoing support for maintenance, QA, and documentation.
To foster the relationship between Subaru and their consumer, we did a complete overhaul on their website. Working in Adobe’s AEM platform, we created a site that leads the industry in its experience. The platform integrates the consumer’s voice and allows enthusiasts to spread the word. An updated configurator allows for high-resolution virtual ownership experiences. Fans can make their favorite Subaru and share it with their social community, extending the brand’s reach into social media.
Dear Subaru Facebook App
We created a Facebook experience that allowed users to submit, read and interact with stories from Subaru owners around the U.S. The app was built as a page on Facebook, the landing of which was an interactive grid of user submitted Subaru imagery. Clicking a postcard revealed a larger image on the front and the individual user’s story on the reverse. The experience also included a “love” functionality that allowed for sharing stories via news feeds.
Guide to Everything Facebook App
Subaru needed a seamless cross-platform experience between Facebook and iOS applications that stayed true to their adventure-seeking brand voice and activated the established community from Lonely Planet. A custom app and CMS was developed, creating a true, cross-platform experience. In addition to handling all development, we provided social media moderation services for Subaru to ensure that we were good stewards of the brand.
